In nearby Lake Suzy, at Nav-a-Gator, you can catch an airboat ride or river tour, poke through the fossils museum, eat gator bites, listen to live music, and rent a cottage on the river. Peace River Campground was one of our favorite campgrounds-we enjoyed the beautiful river and some fun canoeing and relaxing ATV riding. Now, the campground has turned into a party place for hundreds of drunk, obnoxious, dirty people. The only rule is to go 9 mph on the property-but almost everyone was going faster.We have 225 full service sites. All have 50/30/20 amp power, municipal water and sewer. Each site has a picnic table and paver patio. You may have a campfire at your site. Full hook up sites are $95 per night. You may put one RV or tent to a site with a max of 6 persons to a site.Peace River Campground is a great camping facility, especially if you have an ATV. ATV friendly campgrounds are hard to come by. I visited toward the end of June. The campground was about 30-40% occupied.
